TOTALLY LITERATE GAMES
PHONICS
Grade Level: Pre-School
Prerequisite: Familiarity with Phonics Charts.
Knowledge Acquired: Phonetic Makeup of the English Language.
Objective: To read the words on the front of each of the 360 cards, which systematically
go from the short a, to the long a, then through 18 more classifications.
How to Play: Depending on the teacher’s discretion, players read the front side of one or more cards per
turn. To check whether a player reads the word or words correctly, merely click on the letters with Natural
Reader.
Scoring: For every correct attempt, students get one point.
