                                     The House that Jack Built
For two whole years Jack worked, singing songs in the gayest lilt.
But after his house was finally built, he discovered that he
couldn't walk within . . . without things being spilt. Before long he
realized that his house was sitting on a tilt – tilting, tilting, tilting,
more and more. Soon one stilt began to sink deep into the soft silt.
Un•for•tu•nate•ly poor Jack was already in debt to the hilt, and
therefore unable to have his house rebuilt.
What’s more - his girl, Jill, gave him the jilt.
                                                                                                               -83-
