LABOUR DAY
ay 1st is celebrated as International Labour Day or May Day. Celebrating this day is a practise
followed at Cambrian for more than two decades. On this day, we express our gratitude to
Mthe working class and labourers.

It is our little effort to instil in our students the feeling of dignity of labour . We celebrated ‘Labour
Day’ and paid respect to the people who work for the school. Students performed a skit that talked
about saying ‘ NO TO CHILD LABOUR’ and sang a song thanking our helpers. The significance of this

day was explained by the teachers . Gifts were given to the helping staff as an expression of our
gratitude .

The celebration was a reminder of how difficult our lives would be without our helpers .
