UKCasting Agency | Self-tape Workshop | Summer 2020

Many of our students have had great success with casting opportunities over the years. Recently, our students
featured in the CBBC series THE DEMON HEADMASTER, the C4 crime thriller DEADWATER FELL and the BBC drama
THE NEST - just a few from the hundreds of castings for TV adverts, TV programmes and feature films that our
students have been part of.

Getting an audition with a casting director is now more likely to be at the call-back stage. In this digital age, in the
first instance, more and more casting directors want their actors to self-tape for their first audition. Getting a self-tape
audition right is very, very important. If it doesn't show you off correctly, you will not get that call-back audition.

We have had several students and their parents who are keen to know more about how to do great self-tapes, to
allow them the best chance of being chosen for the next stage in a film or TV casting. As a result, we are going to
hold some more self-tape workshops over the summer, to give our students and their parents more knowledge on
how to get these just right.

The student and their parent/guardian should attend each workshop, and participants do not need to prepare
anything in advance. The details are as follows:
