2020 Summer Programme

We have already outlined on Page 3 that our weekly term-time VIP Virtual lessons will run to and including Sunday 28 June
2020. Those students who want to take a break can do so until classes resume in August.
For students who would like to continue training with us throughout the summer, we have some fantastic UKTS Online
Summer Workshops in which each age group can take part. These summer workshops will not cost any extra - they
are included as part of your regular fees this year. The workshops are detailed in the boxes below and run throughout July
2020. All places are subject to availability, and workshops will run dependant on numbers. Details of our 2020 Summer
programme are as follows:

Matilda the Musical themed Workshop Week
No Extra Cost for
Dates: 29 June - 3 July UKTS students
Times: 10am-11.30am
Age: 5-8 years, 9-12years & 13-19 years

The workshops will take place each morning from 10am-11.30am. They will
consist of 3x half-hour workshops with three age groups, based on the hit
musical, MATILDA. On Friday 3 July, students should attend in costume, using
their school uniform or similar. There will be an online sharing of the week’s
work with their course peers.

Grease the Musical themed Workshop Week
No Extra Cost for
Dates: 6 July - 10 July UKTS students
Times: 10am-11.30am
Age: 5-8 years, 9-12years & 13-19 years

The workshops will take place each morning from 10am-11.30am. They will
consist of 3x half-hour workshops with three age groups, based on the hit
musical, GREASE. On Friday 10 July, students should attend wearing anything
they feel represents Grease the Musical. The costumes can be anything related
such as Pink Ladies’ outfits, jeans, t-shirts, dirndl skirts, leather jackets, or
anything similar. There will be an online sharing of the week’s work with their
course peers.

The Radio Play Workshop Week
No Extra Cost for
Dates: 13 - 17 July UKTS students
Times: 10am-12pm
Age: 9-12years & 13-19years

This workshop will take place each day from 10am-12pm (a daily 2-hour
workshop) based on the format of putting a radio play together using various
plays. Students will learn essential skills to use for broadcasting a play using
only the voice.
