7Entertainment PolicySponsors and exhibitors are welcome and encouraged to participate in the Annual Conference. However, entertainment or hospitality by companies, organizations, or individuals during meetings, workshops, or conference-wide social events is strictly prohibited. Entertainment or hospitality by companies, organizations, or individuals is limited to only those who are sponsors or exhibitors at the annual conference, at a time when no conference meetings or conference-wide social events are planned. No commercial exhibits are to be displayed in public areas or hotel lobbies outside the Exhibition or meeting areas. Exhibitors are expected to maintain their exhibit booths until the ending time of the Exposition. Exhibitors must not dismantle their booths until the Exposition has closed. Violation of this policy my result in denial of registration and participation in future conferences. %u2013 Adopted by the KAC Governing Board Conference Cancellation PolicyPartial refunds are given for full conference registration only, and NOT Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday only registration, Affiliate/Associate Registration, or any special event tickets. To be eligible for a partial refund, all cancellations must be made in writing to the KAC office on or before 5 p.m. Friday, November 1, 2024. Upon receipt of written notice, a refund will be processed and mailed to registrants less a $25 registration processing fee. After Friday, November 1, 2024, no refund requests will be honored.Hotel Cancellation PolicyThe lodging room block will be opened when the KAC Annual Conference registration opens. A deposit equal to one night%u2019s stay is required to hold each guest%u2019s reservation and it will be charged at the time of the reservation. These deposits paid by individuals are refundable, if notice is received at least four weeks prior to arrival, by Sunday, November 3, 2024, and a cancellation number is obtained. Any cancellations after Sunday, November 3, 2024, will forfeit their deposit and tax. Each reservation must be accompanied by the individual%u2019s name for each room (no hotel room block will be allowed; for example, booking five rooms under one name is not allowed).
