COUNTY COMMENT %u2022 February 2025 7MEET KERETE PAUL, KAC%u2019S NEW LAW CLERK INTERNGreetings Kansas County Members,My name is Kerete Paul, and I am a first-year law student at Washburn School of Law here in Topeka, KS. I am originally from Miami, FL, and I have always been passionate about the intersection of law and politics. I earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from Florida Atlantic University, and I later pursued a Juris Master at Florida State University, which further deepened my interest in legal studies.I have a strong interest in public service and am dedicated to making a positive impact through my work. After graduating from law school, I plan to pursue a career as a prosecutor. I am eager to gain insight into public service in Kansas. This KAC position offers a unique opportunity for me to learn about the legislative practices within the counties of Kansas. I look forward to applying my background in political science and legal knowledge to effectively support the KAC team.Outside of my academic and professional life, I enjoy working out and love watching crime-related shows, which keeps my passion for the legal field alive in an enjoyable way! nPlease help us welcome Kerete in her new role as KAC%u2019s Law Clerk Intern!
