The County Administrator is responsible for translating the direction of the Commissioners into action through its oversight of the delivery of all County services and countywide strategic planning. The County Administrator is responsible for effective administration of all governmental affairs of the County which legally may be placed in their charge and shall enforce resolutions, policies, rules and regulations adopted by the Board of County Commissioners.Key Responsibilities:%u2022 Operational Excellence: Lead and supervise County departments, promoting efficiency, accountability, and high-quality service delivery.%u2022 Financial Oversight: Manage the County%u2019s budget, oversee financial operations, and ensure fiscal responsibility.%u2022 Intergovernmental Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with federal, state, and local officials to advance County interests.%u2022 Strategic Planning: Develop and implement long-term strategic plans for the County, aligning with community goals and priorities.%u2022 Community Engagement: Foster collaboration with community stakeholders, including businesses, nonprofits, and residents, to address local needs.Qualifications:%u2022 Master%u2019s degree or equivalent; and six to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.%u2022 Extensive experience in public sector management, preferably at a county level.
