ENF UPDATE
For many high school seniors, graduation is a major milestone. They have completed high school and can’t wait to embark on the next part of their journey, going to college. This is where the Elks comes in.
If you know any high school seniors who plan to attend college, encourage them to explore scholarship opportunities from the Elks National Foundation.
The 2018 Most Valuable Student scholarship contest is open to any high school senior who is a U.S. citizen. In addition, the competitive Legacy Awards scholarship is exclusively available to the children and grandchildren of dues-paying Elks. For more information about these scholarships visit enf.elks.org./scholarships.
Scholarships are just one of many programs sponsored by the Elks National Foundation. Other programs support veterans, drug awareness, hoop shoot and grants, just to name a few. This year our Lodge was awarded over $8,000 in grants to give back to the community.
These programs are made possible in part thru donations from our members. So far this year less than 4% of our membership have donated to the ENF. Please show that the Washington Elks Lodge does Care and Share, donate to this worth cause.
