The Challenges of finding and hiring

Today’s marketplace for candidates is highly competitive and demand often outstrips supply, especially for certain niche skills
and experience. Globalisation has resulted
in more organisations within more locations fighting for the same talent. The trend has been compounded by candidates’ increased willingness to relocate, particularly at the junior end of the market.
Talent drain is creating even more competition in some sectors, with more professionals leaving the job market than are joining it.
As a result, talent retention is a growing challenge as the best workers become more visible to both direct and indirect competitors.
We are also observing some of the top talent in the marketplace removing themselves from various social media platforms or making themselves uncontactable.
Competition for the top talent is fierce, but we can help you ensure that you find and
secure the right people at the right time for
your organisation. The best candidates have to be pro-actively found as most of them are not actively looking for a new role and often are not even open to discussing opportunities on first contact. Temporary contract workers are typically only visible to the industry when they are out of contract. However, this rarely applies to the best candidates who are usually in high demand and can continuously secure sequential placements.
Similarly, many of the best Permanent and Executive Search candidates will need to be head-hunted. We will not only help you find these ‘hidden’ candidates, we will use our expertise to actively engage them in your vacancy process.
The challenge doesn’t end when you find the right candidates, you also need to attract them to and secure them for your organisation. We will help you do this by advising you on the right incentives and package based on our extensive sector knowledge and market mapping services.
