process
Preparing job-application materials requires weeks and
months, not days, and there is no way to cut corners. Figure
15.1 on page 400 presents an overview of the process.

In planning a job search, you have four main tasks:
• Do a self-inventory. Before you can start thinking of where
you want to work, you need to answer some questions
about yourself:
