We fundamentally believe supply chains compete, and as a result, we are constantly looking for ways to live out our Core Value of
Continuous Improvement to drive a competitive advantage through the supply chain for our Member owners and IHOP and Applebee’s.
In 2019, we continued to expand our relationship with Kansas State University. We have enlisted professors' help on a variety of topics
including supplier risk management and supply chain data analytics. Graduate students have conducted a variety of research projects
for us ranging from sustainability to conducting chemical analysis to support a restaurant sanitation RFP. We are now leveraging the
university for their animal welfare expertise. Results through Relationships.
Of our six Core Values, we believe that our Member Focused core value recognizes the uniqueness of CSCS. We again celebrated
this value by conducting Member Maniac Week, a week of team building that included attempting to contact every Member of the
Pancake and Apple Co-ops to learn more about how we can improve our service and add even greater value to your businesses. Our
2019 Member satisfaction scores were 4.77 out of 5.0, the highest ratings we have ever received. We continue to receive tremendous
feedback for improvement through this process. Results through Relationships.
