Dawah in the Age of reason
Passing through several centuries, the
prophetic mission of dawah or shahadah has
arrived in the 21 century, which is considered

to be the Age of reason. It is now essential
to present the message of God with adequate
rational proofs and logic in order to address the
modern mind. Without this, the task of dawah
cannot be properly performed.

The Greatest Witness

In later times, this dawah mission was to spread
all across the world. This development is referred
to in the Hadith as shahadat-e-aʿzam, that is, ‘the
greatest witness’. The Prophet of Islam had said
that a time would come when it would become
necessary to perform the work of dawah with
