Ron recently moved back to Nevada after years in Arizona.

Ron performed at many cowboy poetry events in California,
Washington and Wyoming, with regular performances at the Red

Mule Ranch show near Sacramento, Ca. along with host Ron and
Marie Scofield and the Old West Trio.

Ron’s signature poem “Mirror” was selected by a London
publisher to be featured in a pictorial tribute book to the

American cowboy. Two of his poems have been put to music
offered on Cd’s by three different popular cowgirl singers in

Arizona and Texas.

In Arizona Ron’s been featured twice at one of the largest
cowboy poetry gatherings in the southwest, the popular Cochise

Cowboy gathering in Sierra Vista, Arizona. His humorous stories
and warmhearted poems of the range earned him the title,
"Gentleman cowboy poet”. His western humor centers around

two Nevada cowboys, Bucky and Nate, who get into all kinds of
trouble while trying to do the right thing, well most of the time.
