Is there a heaven or hell in this life, I really don't know, in fact my
opinion carries no weight in this matter. What the answer to this
question, I don’t think any of us know, but I do know that all of us
have one chance at this life. We can’t go back for a second
opportunity to make new choices. Oftentimes, we second guess
ourselves sometimes not soon enough that we could have taken a
better path. Jerry’s path was very clear, his life was about always
         doing the right thing.
When I first met Jerry again as an adult after many years of no
communication between us, it was clear in a very short time that
Jerry was a very special person. That feeling has been reinforced
over the years in the times I have shared with him in visits to our
place in Arizona or the times I came to Georgia for the wonderful
experiences we had together. I realize that I could talk to hundreds
of his friends and pretty much get the same answer, that Jerry is
gifted and has lived a life of helping others, his priorities are
kindness and caring. He has the highest respect from all of his
peers. You don't meet a person like him often and sometimes
         never in a lifetime.
I have the highest respect for Jerry and love him like a brother.
