The Benefits of Working at Open Sky Wilderness Therapy
At Open Sky Wilderness Therapy we recognize that success is dependent on our team members’
commitment to excellence. In acknowledgement and appreciation of this contribution, we are pleased
to offer a competitive total compensation package that consists of salary, bonuses, paid time-off, and a
complete benefits package.
Annual Open Enrollment – Plan Year September 1, 2021 – August 31, 2022
Each year Open Sky Wilderness Therapy holds an open enrollment. At that time, you can choose the
following:
• Change the benefit plans you are enrolled in
• Change who you cover by adding or deleting dependents
New Hires

For new, full-time hires, coverage is effective the 1 of the month following 6 months of active
employment (based on your date of hire). Note-you must work on average 30 hours per week or a
minimum of 780 hours during the 6 month qualifying period to be eligible for benefits. Failure to elect
benefits the 1st of the month following your initial eligibity period means you will not be eligible to enroll
in benefits until the next annual open enrollment period or after you have a qualifying event (as outlined
below).

• Discuss your benefit needs with your family
• Decide what benefits you want for the 2021-2022 plan year
Who is Eligible?
You are eligible for the benefits program upon meeting the following criteria:
• A full-time employee who is regularly works a minimum of 30 hours each week or a minimum of 780
hours over the 6 month measurement period.
You may also elect coverage for the following people:
• Spouse / Domestic Partner
• Dependent children up to the age of 26
Following open enrollment, changes to your benefit elections are only allowed in the case of a qualifying
event. The following is a sample list of qualifying events (excluding new hires):
• Change in marital status
• Birth or Adoption
• Part-time to Full-time
• You or your dependents experience a loss of coverage
You have 30 days from the time of the qualifying event to notify Human Resources of your change.
