Eventually, the concept of having a separate entry/exit strategy was dismissed and the team continued to explore architectural design options based on feedback from senior management resulting from several internal design charettes. The sketches shown here are some of the sketches I developed based on either my own exploration or derived from ideas generated by Target’s senior leadership. These sketches represent a small fraction of the numerous studies and designs that were developed throughout the conceptual design phase by the entire Store Design team.
