A bathroom to boast about

Owner Kieran Dowling has lived in the three-bedroomed house for several years and was keen to replace the creaky jacuzzi-style bath and ageing aqua-marine fixtures.
A friend advised Kieran to give Chris Shephard a call to go through his requirements and, after a home visit, Chris was able to offer plenty of inspiration and design ideas.
With the products selected, Chris oversaw the project from start to finish including tiling, plastering and electrical work.
Kieran’s bathroom is an enviable size and it has been opened up still further by a reconfiguration. The grey and white palette brings everything right up to date.
Kieran’s new walk-in shower boasts a large, on-trend drencher plus convenient hand-held shower head, although equally enticing is the bath.
Said Kieran: “I’ve never had so many baths and showers. It’s great to have a long soak in the bath with a book or magazine. I love what’s been done.”
Due to its position in the house, Kieran says the bathroom can get chilly in the winter but a large, smart radiator provides plenty of heat as well as being a design feature.
Chris and his team have also installed a new boiler.
