P. 2
We all know the phrase “working on your summer
body”, which made me think; why aren’t we
consistent year round and how and when do we get
derailed when we were doing so well. It seems to me
that we set fitness and diet goals, work hard to stick
to them until we get to flaunt our tighter figures on
vacation while allowing ourselves to eat and drink
whatever we please. Could our vacations be the
contributing factor to falling off track? There are
many reasons for that, I’m sure and one that came to
mind was lack of access and lack of information. That
is how I decided on this month topics.
I am going to take you through health food stores, farmers markets, fitness trainers, as well as many
outdoor sports and activities that will not only help you stick to your routine, but could lead to some
improvements that you’ll be able to take home with you.
One of the benefits of staying in one of our condos, is having access to a fully furnished and equipped
kitchen. That allows you to prepare your own meals, that way you do not have to rely on eating out for
every meal and can stay in control of your portions and calories.
Where to Shop:
I personally love purchasing my produce from farm stands and farmers markets. Terry’s produce is just
up the street from the resort on A1A and is within walking distance so you can get your fruits and
veggies while getting your steps in.
They carry local produce, honey bell oranges, Vidalia onions and organic honey.
