TOPOGRAPHY AND PHYSICAL FEATURES
Topography of the site is rolling, with closed depressions. Drainage in the undeveloped areas is
generally to the south / southwest direction. Closed depressions abutting Asbury Road will be
used for storm water management areas in the new development (see Appendix B for preliminary
sizing of stormwater management areas). Drainage in the existing subdivision is to the north, and
is now routed to a detention basin on the north boundary of the site. There are no watercourses,
wetlands, floodways, or flood plains on or within 100 feet of the site. Refer to map of Existing
Topography and Features Plan on page 14.
Tree cover is minimal, and mostly confined to fence lines along the boundary and within the site
on former tract lines or pasture fences. Large, mature trees exist in isolated locations.
There are no greenways or bike trails in proximity to the site.
SURROUNDING USES
Use of land surrounding the site consists of residential subdivisions, vacant land, agricultural use,
and single-family residential.
