The composition relates two distinctive pieces of sculpture; namely the bust of Alexander
the Great (found at a Roman excavation) and the Medici bronze of Venus 1711.
These are separated spatially within the Great Hall. Through each artist, the pieces capture
a unique pose and character thereby representing a worldly reference of the conqueror and
the spiritual sphere of the Gods.
The visual convergence of the two expressions create a sense of communication and
                                        common narrative.
