hangs in the Kings Room and spring blossom found in the Duchess Garden.
The central section is painted in a sympathetic style to make a visually continu-
ous narrative.
The ‘Alter realist’ direction to the painting combines the interior and exterior
approaches to aesthetics that were made by Elizabeth.
