This composition is a riot of bright swathes of hot colours with a foreground
of roses.
The appeal (and challenge) to me was to capture the essence of late summer and the
abundance of colour and movement.

I have slightly altered the Venus statue there to an androgynous figure seeming to
appreciate the wonder of this creative and transitory special moment.
