Walking around Batsford Arboretum in early spring actively searching for a
composition, I was taken by the view through this mature beech tree, fronted
by daffodils and narcissi.
I felt the stature and grace of the tree echoed the majesty and tones of the
church tower from St. Mary’s Church beyond.
The soft, warm blue tint of the almost cloudless sky finished off the sense of
tranquillity and delicacy which shines out when nature starts it’s new cycle of
rebirth.
St Mary’s Church from Batsford Arboretum, Gloucestershire. Early spring.
