Stained Glass - The Medieval Frieze
The Alter Realist composition forms a frieze arrangement of elements discovered in various locations to create a themed narrative; namely
the aesthetic expression of the medieval period. Stained glass elements from Holy Trinity Church, Stratford - Upon - Avon and the female
figurative stained glass roundel element from St Mary The Virgin, Charminster, Dorset. The 1509 female portrayal aptly relates and alludes
to the perception and sense of presence within the age. The configuration of medieval designed expression forms a fusion of colour and
patterns relating to Faith that centred in the medieval world.
