     INTERVIEW WITH
             THE HOMEOWNER
What made you fall in love with this home?
The flat, level backyard and amazing living room overlooking the backyard and patio. The privacy
of the yard and the awesome layout of the house. The house has a lot of sq footage and is a great
home to entertain in, due to its open floorplan and flow of the kitchen and living area. The
neighborhood is also amazing and very walkable. Your kids can walk to school, and there is even a
path through the neighborhood to the school for kids. The bedrooms are well-sized and the study
overlooks the backyard, which makes for great "work from home" days. Another amazing thing
about this house is that there is so much storage space!
            Please describe the renovation process.
We redid the siding, roof, gutters, and fascia. We also had new skylights put in. It was
straightforward, and we hired a great company. We also updated both (2) AC units for the front
            and back of the house.
            Why are you moving?
We are moving to be closer to family. We hope someone loves the house as much as we did. To
enjoy a nice cup of coffee in the living room overlooking the backyard or on the patio is something
            we will miss dearly.
            Will you miss the neighbors?
Yes, there are lots of young kids and young families within a few houses of ours. The kids get
together and walk to school together in the mornings. Also, we are so close to the walking path to
Lake Mohegan, and it was fun bringing the dog for walks in the woods.
            Tell me about the grounds.
We have a gorgeous cherry blossom tree over our patio that blooms pink flowers in the spring. It
truly is breathtaking, and we will miss that dearly!
What makes your property so special? Did you ever consider putting in a pool?
We feel the living room, with its multiple windows, really lets you feel like you are one with nature.
Yes, the backyard would be a great spot for a pool.
                                                                                                                       17
