TOP 10 THINGS WE WILL MISS ABOUT
1 BERKELEY ROAD
1. We will always miss the special property as this is what attracted us 17
years ago when we purchased this house. Having 4 acres and all the privacy it
provides, yet less than 2 acres of actual yard to keep up makes it a plus. The wildlife
and shore birds are amazing to watch!
2. We will miss the seclusion the property offers while being on Easton road which
provides the convenience of being plowed out to allow for fast access to downtown.
3. I will miss washing the dishes in the kitchen sink while watching the ducks swim by
and in the spring and fall you can sometimes see an otter swim by.
4. I will miss picking the greens for dinner and green beans, zucchini, tomatoes
and peppers
5. I will miss watching the flower gardens come to life each spring and then cutting
them to greate beautiful fresh bouquets.
6. We will miss the convenience of the lower level kitchen when we were entertaining
on the lower patio.
7. We remember how nice it was to have all 3 schools so close and the smaller school
district was great...kids could walk to elementary school and middle and High school
were only 1 1/2 miles away.
8. We will miss waking up to the sunrises over the pond and seeing the refelction of the
pond's ripples on the ceiling of the master bedroom.
9. I will miss teaching the kids to fish in the pond
10. I will miss the ice skating parties we had when the kids were younger and the smores
in the fire pit afterwards
11. I will miss watching football games in the lower level with it's own bar/kitchen,
fireplace and pool table!
12. We will miss all the sights and sounds of all the wildlife around the pond
13. We will miss the radiant heated floors in the master bath - so nice and warm in the
middle of a cold winter night
14. We will miss being 1 block away from EMS and fire station
15. We will miss the screened in porch and how nice it is to open the 2 sets of French doors early
in the morning to let in all the great spring and summer air in.
