TOP 10 THINGS WE'LL MISS ABOUT LIFE ON OLD ROAD

       1. The modern architecture that sets itself apart
We were immediately wowed by the strong lines and modern architecture Vita Design and Able Construction created
for this home. After spending more time in house we have an even deeper appreciation for the thought that went into
everything from how the home and pool were positioned to take advantage of the sun to the lower level which feels
like a true extension of the house, never an afterthought.

       2. All the windows/light
Even on winter days the light streams into the house. Due to current conditions, we have spent a lot of time indoors
this fall and winter and even during this time we always felt a sense of being outdoors, surrounded by our gardens.

       3. The Neighborhood
From even before we moved into the house we were welcomed with open arms by all our
neighbors. We anticipated it might be hard to meet people with social distancing in place but even with those
precautions our neighbors still found ways to reach out and get to know us and the kids. It really was such a pleasant
       surprise.

       4. Access to everything within minutes
Moving from the city we were worried about leaving the accessibility that Manhattan provides behind but we have
found so much is right at our fingertips. We love frequenting the local fish shop Fjord for a quick bite of sushi or to
pick up topnotch salmon for the evening. The kids were so excited that Shake Shack is a stone's throw away. The ease
of being so close to Post Road and all it's shopping cannot be overstated.

       5. The outdoor space
With ample time at home recently we really wanted to extend our living outdoors as much as possible. The generous
sized patio is the perfect spot to watch a game while the kids play in the pool. The basketball net has been a big draw
for the kid's and their friends, especially since we added speakers by the garage.

       6. The craftmanship and detail that were considered.

       7. The flexibility of the space
What we needed most was a home that would change as our needs changed. This home is perfect for entertaining in
any weather but it's also perfect for those days when you everyone needs their own space. The transition to spending
most of time at home has been made so much easier when we can all have our separate work and play space.
Between the finished attic and the lower level all family members have the privacy and access they need to take
conference calls, join in on virtual learning, and catch up with friends all simultaneously.

       8. Gym! And a bsement that allows everyone to burn off some energy when we can't get outside.
The lower level is definitely something we couldn't live without. Not only does it provide ample storage but it's
become a retreat for us to burn off some energy, whether that be playing games or getting a hard workout in.

       9. Our master bedrtoom suite feels like a little enclave.

       10. Close to schools
We love the ability to walk our children to Long Lots Elementary and the minutes it takes us to get to the middle and
high school. Our home is so close that entices our kids' friends to stop by for a random game of basketball or play
       games in lower level.
