TOP 10 THINGS WE'LL MISS ABOUT LIFE AT 295 OSBORNE HILL ROAD
1. Family time in the expansive, light-filled living room and kitchen. We spend a lot
of time together here. One of the kids is always hanging out on the window seat
chatting with me while I cook, while my husband and another child are relaxing
on the couch with the dog, usually watching something on the food network. It’s a
magical space!
2. Going across the street for walks and bike rides on the Fairfield University campus.
It feels like our own private park in the summer.
3. All the renovations that we love so much! They include multiple custom-built
closets in the master bedroom, three fully remodeled bathrooms, completely
new kitchen, mud room with custom molding, and a basement that feels like an
extension of the main floor. We spent a lot of time getting it all just right!
4. Close accessibility to everything we could need, all while still having a private, tree-
filled backyard. Shopping, the beach, kids activities and commuting couldn’t be
easier when you are nestled about a mile from Downtown, Black Rock Turnpike
and two train stations.
5. Two countertop-length cabinets with electricity, which house the microwave
and other small appliances for easy use. It’s so nice to have access to daily use
appliances without having to see them on the counter.
6. We will greatly miss all the neighborhood friends who walk or bike over daily. So
many school friends all around us!
7. Having the washer and dryer on the bedroom level made doing laundry a breeze.
8. The inviting finished basement where the kids loved playing and hanging out with
friends. We also love the large unfinished part of the basement to store all of our
extra stuff!
9. The fenced in private yard and deck has been wonderful for our kids, our dog and
entertaining friends.
10. All the days and nights spent at the beach with family and friends! We are so
lucky to have four different beaches to visit, depending on the experience we are
looking for that day.
