AN INTERVIEW WITH THE HOMEOWNER

We wanted a home that was inviting and had character. We loved the open feel of the home
and the yard was so inviting. The home was originally built in 1925 and has great moldings and
layout. The den is so bright and open with the windows; it has become our favorite room. We
fell in love with the level, fully fenced in yard that has become our retreat. We didn't realize
how much the covered deck would be used and the patio. We are out there spring, summer
and fall (and we even use the grill in the winter). Upstairs is a great retreat at the end of a long
day with the 3 separate bedrooms and large bathroom.

When we moved in, we loved the character of the old windows but realized that they needed
to be replaced to be more energy efficient. We ended up doing every window and put siding
on the house with dental molding to keep the charm and character that we fell in love with.

We originally thought we would be in the house a couple of years but really fell in love with it. It
was our first house that became our family home. We are looking a little more space but we
are having a hard time leaving this house.

Yes. The street is very friendly and our kids love to ride their bikes down the continuous sidewalk.
They have made many friends and we will be back. It is also an awesome street to trick or treat
on. Everyone goes out early and it is so much fun going door to door.

We have completely changed our yard. There used to be big overgrown shrubs that were
removed and we replaced our fence with a new gate. We put in a patio that is the perfect
spot for our table & umbrella. We planted new hydrangeas that are the perfect shade of blue.

We love the size, shape and how level our lot is. It is the perfect space for kids playing outdoor
games and with it being fenced in, it is great for privacy too.
