An Interview with...

                                                          THE PROUD HOMEOWNERS OF

                                                         233 HIGH MEADOW ROAD

Q: WHAT MADE YOU FALL IN LOVE WITH THIS HOME?

A: Initially, it was the overhead picture of the whole home and lot in the listing. The curving
driveway to the brick parking area followed by the huge back yard on multiple levels
with a full fenced in yard, pool, hot tub and waterfall. We each found the house separately

and sheepishly brought it up to the other because it was not in our price range but, in the
end, we had to have it. Once we moved in, we loved the resort back yard, fires in the two
fireplaces and the outdoor firepit, the cul de sac feeling with the neighbors, the view to the
water on a clear day, watching town fireworks from our backyard.

Q: PLEASE DESCRIBE THE RENOVATION PROCESS.

A: No renovations were ever needed. We made improvements of course and maintained the

health and beauty of both the house and yard. The major improvements we made were
buying the solar array to enjoy reduced electrical bills, the whole-house backup Generac, the
digital (phone app) pool control, water heater, attic furnace, dishwasher, outdoor shed and
                               pool heater.

                           Q: WHY ARE YOU MOVING?

A: With the kids both off to college and I am no longer commuting to the city we have
decided that it is time to retire to the beach in the South.

Q: WILL YOU MISS THE NEIGHBORS/NEIGHBORHOOD?

A: Definitely! The High Meadow neighborhood is great and both we and the kids had friends

throughout the area but the High Meadow mini cul de sac is special. Five houses are
linked together by way of the driveway property and somehow that has brought us all
together in so many ways that the larger neighborhood couldn’t have.

Q: TELL ME ABOUT THE SOLAR SETUP?

A: Honestly, it seemed like a no-brainer to do it. Both the state and federal governments

were providing tax benefits to putting them in which gave us a 7-year expected payback on
purchasing the array. We have tracked the electricity sold back to the grid to verify that we
have saved thousands per year and just about gotten our payback completed. Now, you get
to enjoy the benefits. The 37 units are maintained at no cost for the life of the array and we have
never had any roof or water problems. We also have, in writing, that if you decide to replace the
roof in the next 3 years the solar company will remove the panels and install them again for a flat fee
                   of $1000.
