Q: WHAT MADE YOU FALL IN LOVE WITH THIS HOME?

A: We were looking for a home in a gated community and a spacious

entertaining home. We loved the location of this home nested in natural beauty.

My husband loved to entertain family and friends from around the world. I love to

cook so I was looking for a big kitchen with lots of light and big windows. I loved

the front entry Atrium and kitchen garden as well. We have enjoyed and loved

living in this home.

Q: PLEASE DESCRIBE THE RENOVATION PROCESS.

A: Home was almost but not fully built when purchased in 1989. We extended

the front entry foyer and added double entry doors, to make the foyer bigger and

more dramatic. We knew we would be entertaining a lot so we converted the

study into a lounge/bar next to the living room with granite counter tops for formal

entertaining. I really enjoyed selecting granite for the kitchen and lounge

counters.

Q: WHY ARE YOU MOVING?

A: My children are grown adults now and one has moved out of the house. This

house is spacious for me and my daughter and we are not entertaining as much

as we did in our previous years here. It’s time to “right size” our life.

Q: WILL YOU MISS THE NEIGHBORS/NEIGHBORHOOD?

A: Yes, our neighbors are great! We know each other from our younger days at

the pool and The Ridge gatherings. I loved the 'progressive dinners' around the

holidays...they were the best to share favorite cuisine with neighbors.
