About life at 136 Henderson Road

1. We love that everything we need is at our fingertips and just a few minutes away. The

convenience of this is really very special.

2. We loved being able to walk with our kids to Riverfield Elementary when they were young. As
the kids got older they could walk or ride their bikes to the Roger Ludlow Middle School and
Fairfield Ludlowe High School.

3. We loved stopping at Gruel Britanna on Sunday morning and bringing breakfast to Sasco
Beach to relax and enjoy.

4. We loved that the neighborhood is on a private street so there is never a lot of traffic. They

neighbors are often outside and everyone is friendly.

5. Walking to Dairy Queen in the summer for ice cream is always fun on a summer night.

6. We loved playing golf at the Fairfield Par 3 golf course on Old Dam Road just minutes away
from our house.

7. We love that we can make a quick trip over to Harry’s Wine and Liquor Shop to pick up a last

minute bottle of wine. Having the excellent Fairfield Cheese Shop
right next door to Harry’s is an added bonus!

8. We look forward to walking or riding our bikes to the Memorial Day Parade and the July 4th
Fireworks. Summers are fun in Fairfield!

9. One of our favorite things to do is walking around Southport Village to admire the beautiful

homes and the Southport Harbor that is so picturesque.

10. We really enjoy the Pequot Library and all the many activities they host. One of our favorites
is the Southport Garden Stroll, a fundraiser sponsored by the Library.
