TOP THINGS WE'LL MISS ABOUT LIFE AT 10 JAMES LANE, WESTPORT
1. Walking to Christie’s country store for Ice Cream Stand on a beautiful summer day and the
convenience of having a quick stop for groceries and other items.
2. Taking a walk with our dogs with other dog friends at Wakeman park. Or watching games at the fields
so close to home.
3. The family-focused neighborhood...the neighbors have a skating rink each winter that everyone
loves, hearing the kids laugh as we relax in the hammock, play dates with both kids and pets!
4. Orientation (house facing southeast): This adapts to all major Feng Shui consideration, and is great
for saving energy.
5. We loved having the single level living and having all the bedrooms on one level.
6. We will miss entertaining on the large deck overlooking our beautiful backyard. We have had so
many great memories watching all the kids play in the backyard.
7. The separate bonus room used for son’s rowing workout, a yoga studio and, at times, a guest room.
Our guests had their own space with a private entrance.
8. Our large driveway that we used to play basketball with the whole family and loved shoveling snow
all together with the dogs running happily with us.
9. Playing in the backyard with our dogs and enjoying the space to run freely and privately.
10. Location! The kids could walk to school. My son had swim practice at 5:30 and he would ride his bike
or walk so we did not have to drive him.
11. The Lower level was especially great as the kids were growing up. They could play outside and inside
with their friends all day while I got work done upstairs. Or we would watch movies as a family and
have "together time".
12. This house has amazing Feng Shui, we have received so much great news from our mailbox including
that our son won the National Merit Scholarship Award in 2020 - the only one in Westport. We asian
believe our family is very much blessed because of the great Feng Shui Energy: our family members
of three generations and two dogs all love one another and are in great harmony and health. Son
was especially blessed and had lots of achievements: State Championship for breastokes in CT, Youth
National Lightweight Rower when in High School, Captain in Saugatuck Rowing Team, Ranked 6th in
the International Underwater Robotic Competition. We found Staples to be an amazing school!
