ABOUT THE ARCHITECT

Design Statement

The near-water location for this house has the assets of sunlight and water views to be
responded to, but also the challenges and regulations that come with such sites.
The house was designed to take advantage of these location attributes of light,
water views and breezes in such a way that the contemporary design is a
reflection of this environment as much on the exterior as the interior.
The plan was thereby conceived to be a place where a casual lifestyle
will experience the near-water location throughout the house.
