We will miss about 14 Darbrook Road

1. Location! Town, beach, and schools are all close. The street is beautiful to drive down.
Plus, private yet close to everything. Neighbors are all terrific - friendly, helpful, and
social. Driving down Darbrook Road makes me feel grateful and proud because it is
such beautiful street that I live on.

2. Our boys enjoy the different aspects of our yard to the fullest. They hang with friends
by the fire pit and shockingly they even play bocce! My husband and I sit with blankets
by the outdoor fireplace long into the fall and early winter.

3. We host pool parties and the cottage provides convenience for our guests and for us!
The boys can have a lacrosse catch in the front yard and we can entertain in the back.

4. We wished we had the lower space for our au pair when the kids were little. Currently

our younger son uses the lower-level bonus room as an art/ homework/ drums area
and we use it as a gym. I work from the lower-level study and it is so nice to be able to
sit outside in my own space to write.

5. Quick two-minute trips make life super easy. We are always running to Trader Joe’s

or CVS or Compo Flowers. The location of the school being 5 minutes away makes
dropping off forgotten books no big deal.

6. I love my running loop around the beach.

7. The boys can be entertaining their friends over the garage, and we can be having a
quiet movie night in the family room. The room easily becomes the guest suite for my
in-laws when they visit, so everyone has their own space.

8. The vibe – We wanted to create a rustic, elegant vibe. A cozy warm inviting space with

clean lines and a sophisticated barn look. It feels warm and loving but also open and
inspiring. Makes me happy every time I go to bed or come down for coffee or sit in front
of a roaring fire to watch a movie.

9. My husband and I love to take a leisurely walk to GG & Joe’s for Sunday morning coffee.

10. Flowers, flowers everywhere! – what else to say. The spring and summer are glorious.
Our home is filled with flowers in every room and we look out at them through every
window.
