THE HOMEOWNER
Q: What made you fall in love with this home:
A: The home had only one owner before us. I knew how much their family loved their home and
felt grateful to be able to raise my son here. I adore the cape style home and could see the
potential as it had such great bones.
Q: Please describe the renovation process:
A: As an interior designer, it was fun to visualize how to modernize and open up the floor
plan, by removing a couple walls and painting everything white. The mudroom is my favorite
addition, and a super functional chef's kitchen was a must. Hardwood floors, new doors,
hardware, and lighting completed the look.
Q: Why are you moving?
A: I had a chance to live on the water and since it's been a dream of mine, I decided to take
the opportunity!
Q: Will you miss the neighborhood/neighbors?
A: The neighbors are all so friendly and the yearly block party is the best opportunity to
connect with them. So many kids! Amazing to be able to walk to the elementary school with
friends, and Halloween is next level fun.
Q: Tell me about the grounds:
A: I adore our flat backyard and especially our porch in all seasons. Having tea out there in the
mornings is my favorite, especially when the flowering trees are in bloom.
Q: What makes your property so special:
A: It has the best of everything, close to shops, town, beach, schools etc, yet it is so private–
the perfect balance of interaction with neighbors and quiet solitude.
