THE STORY OF FAIRFIELD

Fairfield, Connecticut is a town consistently celebrated by Money

magazine as one of the Best Places to Live. The iconic town of

Fairfield is situated on the picturesque and ecologically flourishing

Long Island Sound, home to five town beaches and miles of

sandy shores. Fairfield is renowned for its natural beauty, strong
community, enviable cuisine, and a dynamic interplay of seaside

        and countryside living.

Long noted for the Community’s scholastic prowess, Fairfield

Residents are accustomed to witnessing a very significant

percentage of children matriculate from the illustrious Fairfield

school system to gain acceptance at many of the most elite

universities in the world. Fairfield’s commitment to provide a
superior education for all of its children accounts for its well

respected 11 elementary schools, 3 middle schools, and 4 high

schools, 2 of which are private.

Fairfield is also home to two highly regarded institutions of

higher learning, Fairfield University and Sacred Heart University,

alphabetically and respectively listed. While these college

campuses add a special dimension to the town’s diverse culture, it
is abundantly clear that Fairfield in general is not part of a College

Town... but rather, the Colleges are both a part of Fairfield.

The town of Fairfield Department of Parks and Recreation maintains

170 acres of parks, 5 miles of beaches, 36 playing fields, 2 golf

courses, 2 marinas, a Fitness Center, 31 asphalt tennis courts,

amongst other important recreational facilities. This enviable

lifestyle becomes even more compelling when realizing that

New York’s economic, sports, and cultural opportunities via Metro

North’s New Haven, driving via I-95 and Merritt Parkway.
