INTERVIEW WITH
THE BUILDER
What excites you most about creating 72 Lloyd Drive?
Honestly, this is my favorite home I’ve ever built to date. With 72 Lloyd Drive, I really
wanted to push the envelope—not just recreate what’s worked in the past, but
challenge myself to elevate every detail. I took some risks here by introducing new
design elements, custom features, and higher-end finishes that you usually see in
homes at a much higher price point. It’s exciting because it represents a new standard
for what I think Fairfield County buyers are looking for: something that feels fresh,
inspired, and truly special.
What makes this property so special?
It’s the combination of thoughtful design, craftsmanship, and location. The lot is
incredible—it gave us the space to create a home that’s expansive without feeling
overwhelming, and the backyard is really something you don’t find often in Fairfield.
Inside, every corner was designed with intention—from the lighting choices and
custom millwork to the vaulted ceilings in the primary suite. And the third-floor
finished attic… I love how versatile that space turned out. This home doesn’t just
check boxes—it fits everyone's needs.
What is important to you in every home you build?
Two things: purpose and quality. I’m a huge believer in “proper spacing’ with each
area having a specific purpose. Open-concept living, but it has to be done right. Each
space still needs to have a purpose—rooms should flow naturally, but never feel
undefined. I’m also extremely particular about the materials we use. You’ll find
finishes here—like the white oak flooring, designer lighting, and Thermador
appliances, and custom millwork—that are typically reserved for luxury homes at a
much higher price point. For me, it’s about delivering lasting value and making sure
every home I build feels like it was crafted with care, not just constructed.
