Q: Why we fell in love with this home

A: The minute we walked into this well-constructed quality home, so close to the beach with

its sunny rooms and incomparable scenic views of the tidal marsh, we knew we had found
our dream-come-true!

Q: Why we are moving

A: It’s difficult to leave our beautiful house and wonderful neighbors in the Fairfield beach

area. But at this stage of our lives, we would like to downsize and spend more time in
warmer climates.

Q: Will we miss the neighbors?

A: Certainly. We’ll miss impromptu socializing over a glass of wine at the edge of the marsh
and check-ins during storms. We have ideal neighbors of varying ages and stages who
have become trusted friends and are there to help whenever needed.

Q: About the grounds…

A: At first glance, it’s the expansive salt marsh separating the property from the marina that
attracts the eye. But it’s also true that the property is admired by neighbors and pass-
ersby for its lush green sod lawn and native-sourced shrubs that have been meticulously
cared for with organic materials. Beautiful blooms of daffodils and fragrant lilacs come in
April and May and brilliant hydrangeas and scented roses last all summer along with other
spectacular blossoms.

Q: A special property…

A: The tidal marsh is a magical, everchanging landscape teeming with birds, like Great White
Egrets and Blue Herons, as well as friendly wildlife. You’ll want to follow them from the
backyard or upstairs balcony through your binoculars. We named the property “Marsh-
mellow” for its serene, natural paradise. But it’s also a unique place to entertain family
and friends and to educate the next generation of nature lovers!
