The generous dining room was the original
kitchen of the house, with a huge Rumford
fireplace and working beehive oven. Seating
12+ for dinner will not be a problem in this
spacious and light filled room. The front to
back living room is beautiful with a hand
drawn replica of the home on the fireplace
surround, and built-ins on either side of a
welcoming window seat that overlooks the
backyard. This room happened to serve as
the town Tavern between the years of 1734 -
1739 soon after it was built. So much
history in this one room!
