Interview with the Homeowner
Q: What is your favorite feature of the house?
A: We fell in love with the loads of charm and character here at 257 Rowland Road as soon
as we walked in 24 years ago! We have enjoyed updating our home throughout the years
incorporating some modern features, all the while maintaining that original charm and
character that was so attractive to us!
Q: What made you stay all of these years while your children were growing up?
A: Great neighborhood with access to all the important features of Fairfield (train, town
center, schools and beach). Also the storage and closet space here made it comfortable for
a our growing family of 6.
Q: What do you like the best about the neighborhood/neighbors?
A: Easy walking and bike riding with flat roads. Always lots of people out walking and
socializing.
Q: Favorite part about the house when entertaining?
A: The ease of flow from kitchen to family room to back yard. The stone wall provides nice
built in seating!
Q: Your home is so centrally located, how has that made it easy to live there over the
years (traveling to work, school, etc)?
A: So easy to get to so many key places which saves time. (Beach, Town dump/ recycling,
Veteran’s park/ tennis, town center and restaurants, town green)
