TOP THINGS WE WILL MISS ABOUT
1 BERKELEY ROAD
1. The special property… this is what attracted us 17 years ago when we
purchased this house. Having 4 acres and all the privacy it provides, yet less than
2 acres of actual yard to keep up makes it a plus. The wildlife and shore birds are
amazing to watch!
2. The seclusion the property offers, yet also being on Easton road which provides the
convenience of being plowed out to allow for fast access to downtown.
3. Washing the dishes in the kitchen sink (if you can believe it) while watching the ducks
swim by and in the spring and fall you can sometimes see an otter swim by.
4. Picking the greens for dinner and green beans, zucchini, tomatoes and peppers.
Nothing better than fresh ingredients at your fingertips.
5. Watching the flower gardens come to life each spring and then cutting them to create
beautiful fresh bouquets to brighten up the home.
6. The convenience of the lower level kitchen when we were entertaining on the lower
patio. The lower level in itself is a great place to hang out… the indoor/outdoor feel is
amazing!
7. How nice it was to have all 3 schools so close and the smaller school district was
great...kids could walk to elementary school, and the Middle and High school were only
1 1/2 miles away.
8. Waking up to the sunrises over the pond and seeing the reflection of the pond's
ripples on the ceiling of the master bedroom. We often enjoyed a cup of coffee on the
balcony.
9. Teaching the kids to fish in the pond. There are plenty of fish to go around!
10. The ice skating parties we had when the kids were younger and the s’mores in the fire
pit afterwards. It is like having your very own recreation center at home.
11. Watching football games in the lower level with it's own bar/kitchen, fireplace and
pool table!
12. All the sights and sounds of the wildlife around the pond. Truly a nature lover’s
paradise.
13. The radiant heated floors in the master bath - so nice and warm in the middle of a cold winter
night.
14. The screened in porch and how nice it is to open the 2 sets of French doors early in the
morning to let in all the great spring and summer air in.
