Why are you moving?
We have enjoyed 27 years here (which have passed in a flash) and are now ready for
single-story living!
Tell me about the grounds…
Our yard has beautiful mature trees and our backyard “neighbor” is a meadow that hosts
the best of Connecticut wildlife: deer, wild turkey, possums, and raccoons, plus a huge
cross-section of local bird species. We are close to nature even as the conveniences of town
are so close.
What makes your property so special?
I think this house has a unique mixture of easy access to the amenities of town (plus
proximity to trains, highways, and other methods of getting around) while still feeling
residential and close to the beautiful natural environments of rural Connecticut and the
Sound. It offers the best of both worlds!
Did you ever consider putting in a pool?
Given the nearness of the beach, we actually didn’t! But there is plenty of room to add one!
