Q: WHAT MADE YOU FALL IN LOVE WITH THIS HOME?
A: SO many things.. the overall look and feel of this home captured our attention
immediately upon entering. As an interior stylist, I felt it had so many great architectural
features and did not feel "empty" like so many of the homes we toured. I loved the
hardwood floors, and the ability for this home to be either traditional New England in feel,
transitional- modern without losing it's character. Having this home so close to the schools
yet on a super quiet cul-de-sac.
Q: PLEASE DESCRIBE THE RENOVATION PROCESS.
A: Renovating the powder room and upstairs bathroom was fun! Keeping within the character
of this home that we love so much yet modernizing was easy.
Q: WHY ARE YOU MOVING?
A: Our eldest child is midway through college and our youngest will be finishing of high school
soon. We are looking to "right size" our home. We think this a fabulous house for a young
family and hope the new owners will appreciate it and enjoy all of the wonderful amenities
of this house and yard. Close to the schools, town, and in the heart of everything.
Q: WILL YOU MISS THE NEIGHBORS?
A: Pleasant Valley Lane is a wonderful neighborhood for any family. With a variety of both
younger families and retirees who look out for one another.
Q: TELL ME ABOUT THE GROUNDS.
A: The grounds of this home are stunningly beautiful. We will very much miss looking out of
the windows and sitting on the patio and appreciating its beauty.
Q: WHAT MAKES YOUR PROPERTY SO SPECIAL?
A: What makes this property so special is that it functions so well for our family. Being able
to play basketball in the driveway, sit outside on the patio, or in the gazebo in the backyard
looking at the gorgeous majestic gardens , to entertaining large or small crowds, this
property is just so flexible.
Q: DID YOU EVER CONSIDER PUTTING IN A POOL?
A: We did not consider putting in a pool (though there is room for one) as we are more of tennis family.
