What are your favorite things about the house?

The Kitchen and all that cabinet storage as well as the double ovens that were of great help
while hosting over the holidays. The patio is one of our very favorite things; it’s beautiful,
big, solid, and great for entertaining during the summer months. We love the large family
room with the fireplace, cozy, warm, and perfect for gatherings. The finished basement
expands our usable living space in great ways: guest rooms, recreation, storage, office, etc.
Spacious closets everywhere. The oversized garage gave us even more storage. The location,
only 5 minutes to the train, downtown Fairfield, in walking distance of schools and the
university, all that convenience

What will you miss?

We will miss sitting on the large bluestone patio on a quiet morning, watching the birds, and
enjoying the mature trees. The big family room with the fireplace has been our gathering
place, especially in the cooler months. The generous closets, even in the bathrooms that
extra storage, have been nicer than we ever realized until you live without it. The
landscaping, privacy, the sense of being surrounded by nature, yet still so close to
everything. I’ll miss the basement, having finished space for guests, hobbies, overflow, etc...

Why are you moving?

We love this home but, at this point of our lives we want we want something smaller, more
manageable.

Will you miss the neighbors?

Yes, absolutely. We’ve developed friendships; it’s a friendly neighborhood, and people watch
out for each other. We will miss the quiet evenings, seeing familiar faces, and the sense of
community that’s rare to find. We hope the new owners love this place as much as we do.
