THE STORY

     OF WESTON

Weston, Connecticut, is a charming town located just outside of New York City. Despite its close proximity to the
bustling metropolis, Weston remains a quiet and peaceful community. With only a handful of stores in the town
center, commercial development is limited, allowing for a more rural atmosphere.

The heart of Weston includes the Weston Town Center, known by locals as “The Center.” It offers a large
assortment of everyday necessities, such as a local food market, bank, pharmacy, delicious restaurant, post office,
and more, making it a key spot for residents to shop and meet. Another notable feature of Weston is Devil’s Den
Preserve, a vast nature reserve spanning over 1,700 acres. This popular destination attracts over 40,000 visitors
annually, offering hiking trails and scenic views for outdoor enthusiasts to enjoy.

Residential development in Weston is also restricted by two-acre zoning regulations, preserving the town's
natural beauty and open spaces. A popular spot for the community to gather is Lachat Town Farm, highlighting
the town’s agricultural roots. There are various events and programs held at Lachat throughout the year, coupled
with the town’s scenic rolling hills, open meadows, and stunning vistas.

Whether you're exploring one of the local favorites or attending a community event, Weston’s unique blend of
rural charm and modern amenities makes it a truly special place to call home.
