A LETTER FROM THE HOMEOWNER OF

31 NORFIELD ROAD

Dear Potential Buyers,

Now that my home has been listed for sale, I have received feedback from some of you that
Norfield Road is "too busy." Since this letter may be my only opportunity to interact with you, I am
writing to reach out to you while you’re here in the home where my children were raised and
where we have lived for over 15 years.

While it is true that Route 53/Norfield Road is a CT state road as opposed to a Weston Town
road, it is in fact no busier than any of the town roads in and around Weston Center. Along with it
comes the gift of being located so near to Weston Center. The proximity of the shops, the schools
complex, Town offices and Library is an enviable location and saves many hours every week in
completing simple chores. I remember always being thankful that my home was so close to
school every time I received a call from the nurse notifying me of one of my children's illnesses or
for a forgotten lunch or book.

An added benefit to the location is that the school bus stop is directly at the end of the drive-
way; at the mailbox. Consider how convenient this is for your family. On nice days, they have only
to stroll to the end of the driveway to catch the bus. This was always a great comfort to me, espe-
cially when the kids were young, and particularly in cold or rainy weather. On those days, I simply
drove them in the nice warm car to the end of the driveway where they could remain in the
warm, dry car and only bear the elements at the moment the bus arrived.

I cannot stress strongly enough that the layout of the property provides optimum enjoyment,
with no issue whatsoever for the traffic flow on Norfield Road. There is a veritable country club that
is the side and rear yards here, where all outdoor activity occurs. Over the years we have enjoyed
the privacy this provides, particularly in the summer months when the trees and shrubbery are in
full bloom. The pool, pool house, garden and lawn are all shielded from the street and the public
by the house. That's where the pool parties, sunbathing, barbequing, touch football and the like
all occur in complete seclusion from the street. The tennis court, though in the side yard, is also
quite secluded due to the lower grade and the mature plantings surrounding it. That's where ten-
nis, stickball, hoops, skateboarding, chalk drawing and other activities occur, also in complete pri-
vacy. Add to these attributes the existence of the invisible fence, which allowed our dog access
to the entire 2 acres without us having to worry about his safety, and you have a full family retreat,

Only you can know if this is the right home for your family. I can only tell you it has been a won-
derful location for mine. Please don't be deluded by what at first blush gives the appearance of a
"busy street" and allow that to distract you from the many positive attributes that the yard and the
outdoors of this property offer you and your family. I can assure you from experience that the traf-
fic patterns on Norfield Road have never caused concern for the safety of our children and pets.

Sincerely,

Current Homeowner
