                                          Performance  art  influenced  by  Malay,  Javanese
                                          and Balinese elements that was brought to Istana
                                          Terengganu (Palace of Terengganu) by the royalties
                                          of  Pahang. Tengku Ampuan Mariam who is wedded
                                          to the 14th Sultan of Terengganu, Sultan Sulaiman
                                          Badrul Alam Shah in 1913 is the one who introduced
                                          the Gamelan dance at Istana Maziah (Maziah Palace)
                                          in 1915. In the past, the  Gamelan dance were
                                          performed only in the palace but as time passes
                                          it is now also performed in special events.





                                                                                                                                  Nasi Dagang
                                                                                                                                  Nasi  Dagang  is  a  very  famous  traditional  cuisine  in
                                                                                                                                  Terengganu. Traditionally,  nasi  dagang is served as
                                                                                                                                  breakfast  and  on  special  celebrations  such  on  the
                                                                                                                                  morning  of  Eid.  This  dish  is  an  all-around  famous
                                                                                                                                  cuisine and is served  all the time.
                                                                                             Lompat Tikam
                                                                                             The phrase  lompat  (jump) and  tikam  (stab) are
                                                                                             unrelated at all with this liked-by-many desert. Rice
                                                                                             flour is used to make the first layer with an addition
                                                                                             of pandan leaf to give it the green colour while the
                                                                                             second layer consist of coconut milk. Traditional palm
