Fare-Thee-Well

‘‘May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be even at your back. May the sunshine warm upon your face and
the rainfall softly upon your fields. And until we meet again, may God hold you in the hollow of his hand.’’

Bidding farewell to people close to our hearts is one of the

most daunting tasks to accomplish. When the nostalgia of the past days takes

over, it’s difficult to get hold of one’s emotions. This year we bade a warm

adieu to two of the strongest pillars of the school, who rendered their

services and unflinching support through all highs and lows of the institution
for over forty years. Ms. Padma Manchanda, Ms Kiran Gupta and Ms.
                                                                                                  th

Sujata Sen their virtual farewell organised on 30 September

2020. Ms Meenal Bajaj, the staff representative, welcomed everyone

and said, "It's not retiring rather re-trying and looking forward to a

new phase of life, a beautiful journey ahead." The farewell function was

presided over by the chairman, Mr. Surjit Singh and chairperson, Ms.

Rasna Singh along with the Principal, the Headmistress and the staff

members. After the customary ‘shabad’, a heartfelt presentation charted their

journey over the years leaving everyone teary-eyed. Our revered chairman

sir appreciated the teachers for their commitment towards the school. Ms.
